That was pretty fast Tree! Mine took 14 days-yours took 23...it might have slowed down a little but it's still good! You also had two holidays thrown in there! :)

Said as a true government employee :P :P Yeah, less than their specified processing times, but longer than practically everyone else on here at the moment! It's not just you that's impatient you know ;)

When are you flying out to see Mr FL? I'm hoping to visit the US next week to see Mr Tree - he's been to the UK three times this year and used up all his holidays, so it's my turn now :)

ha! I was trying to make you feel better...seems like NVC has slowed down somewhat the past couple of weeks.

I hope you get out here (US) next week!!! That would be great! I leave two weeks from yesterday but who's counting...actually, two weeks from right now I'll be with him!!!!!! I should start packing this weekend!

PS Yesterday wasn't a gov't holiday, but I was the only one in my office working!

LOL Finn, our case was transferred to NVC before yours - you've finished and have an interview date (I think) and we've only just had the DS-3032 accepted. We won't mention that our NOA1 was a full month before yours either

As for counting down the days...I can't wait!! I have so much to do beforehand, but instead I'm spending far, far too much time on the internet instead :P

I can finally say that that wonderful IV bill has been generated! Now I just have to wait for my husband to wake up and pay it :P

Muslimqueen you're next :)

You'r so lucky when did it generate?

It must have been after 10pm last night. We've since received two emails each, so it's all official so to speak.

Come on, we're waiting for you now

And yes, I'm rather excited that we're finally moving again :)

When the operator answered the call yesterday, it was so obvious that he wished he were anywhere but at NVC!! And that's before I started questioning the information that he gave me that contradicted his colleagues' ;)

Fingers crossed for you :)

According to them, it was the hardcopy that was accepted. That's why I asked whether you'd sent yours, and they really do prefer that barcode to be on it apparently. When exactly did yours arrive there?

Well that makes me feel better. But my AVR says no case found when i enter the Case number (i tried both the NVC ad the USCIS.) So i hope by next week it will be approved. You think its a good chance it will?

Well Tree, you're catching up! Hubby's interview is on 12/15...who knows how all this timing works!

Just out of curiosity, when you guys mailed your 3032, was it a true signed copy? My hubby scanned his with a signature and emailed it to me, and I just printed it out and fedexed it also (in addition to my hubby sending it via the email template).

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

So, today has been full of surprises! Yesterday..I was hit with a wall of depression, and I just couldn't shake it. Then yesterday afternoon, it snowed...TERRIBLY. Like a blanket of snow. And so many accidents happened and I had to push my friend's car for about 2 blocks, and then I had to push it once we hit black ice...so today, I woke up, got dressed and went into my backyard and laid on the snow..just staring at the sky, then I left my backyard and went to the front and there was a person at my door with a giant box with flowers! Turns out they were from my husband...I so needed that. It was such a great surprise. =)

The weekend is almost over, hoping for more log in failures next month. ^_^

Gosh, I didn't realise it was so soon - good luck :)

Yes, mine was a true signed copy. I sent it priority mail, it just sat in New York for a week.
