Just a head up Metro426 Yes they are closed tommarow for Thanksgiving I think the are closed on friday too, thats at least what i heard. and there also off on weekends,. so they will re-open on Monday. If your husband dose not have a yearly income you have to get a joint sponcer, everything for the I-864 has to be from this year i think the past 6 months. Sorry i dont know what a PCC is.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask me.

Thanks a lot for your quick response! My husband has yearly income but it is not always the same so we are confused on the amount that we have to put on the annual income in item 23. But if it is for the current year, then we have to add all the year to date income he has for this year, is that correct?

Thanks for the PCC, i don't think i have to bother on that. Appreciate your help.

Hello guys,

I am part of the NVC november as well and maybe reach month of January.

I'm just wondering and I think June filers read this questions as well! We have our Case number assigned last Thursday and We never got an email from NVC yet, should we call them to follow-up? Is this normal to wait for the email for like a week?

Thanks!

Please help me, please! I need advice guys!

You should call them and see whats up. cuz i never got an email then i called them and they had my email written wrong altho they did have my hubbys email correct. they said they emailed me up it took like 4 days for me to get anything. after i got the (AOS) BILL and the DS-3032 form by mail. i got the Email.

Hope i helped let me know if you have any other questions and ill try to help you out.

Thank you MuslimQueen!

It's just kinda sucks as my husband is not really good in paperworks so i have to search everything. I will call them on Friday as I am in the Philippines and they might be close tomorrow for the Thanksgiving. I have lots of questions and confusion on the I-864 though. May I know what is the right figure to put in Item 23 of I-864? My husband doesn't have fixe annual income. Which year should we follow? Also, what is passport PCC? Is it different from Police clearance certificate?

Thank you so much for your assistance and I appreciate it a lot!

The passport PCC, I believe, is for India only.

Thanks Mal,

Appreciate the information!

I think the payment portal got updated for the last time today. and NOTHING! *Sigh* I dont know what else to do this is taking forever!

Neither did mine. So for today at least I'm going to leave it, and perhaps tomorrow or on Saturday I'll check it again. In the meantime, I've got plenty to do to keep me busy, including getting my stuff ready for my medical on Wednesday :)

PS I can't help thinking, why is it you can send a letter saying that we haven't paid the IV bill or sent back the DS-230, when you haven't actually generated either in the first place? And they say we are in a hurry

Ok, I actually called the NVC AVR because I wanted to double check something. When I called last night, the AVR said there was missing or incomplete information, and that they'd sent a letter on 24th November. When I called just now, the AVR repeated the missing info bit, and that they'd sent a letter on 26th November (ie today), which is rather strange considering that it's not even 8am in NH, and of course it's a federal holiday, plus they still haven't generated that IV bill so I'm not sure what it is they're chasing.

I should take my own advice and forget NVC!!!

The dates on the AVR are actually tied to when the email gets sent out by the computer - not when the CO actually orders any RFEs.

Thanks, Mal, so is it an actual letter they send or an email? And (rhetorical question here) why send them on two days so close to one another and before the IV bill generated? How you got through 4 months at NVC I don't know!!

Did you give them your email addresses? If you did, it will come through email. What happens with the AVR is that the CO will tick in the system that something has changed or requested and it'll first say that date. It will change once the computer system actually sends out the email to you.

I was at NVC for 4 months because I had two RFE's. The first required a supervisor review which took 15 business days. I also didn't submit the I864 until a month after our case was received at NVC (co-sponsor stuff). The second RFE took a bit to respond to because Canada Post sucks and lost the last piece of evidence we needed.

Our case just sat there for 10 days before the AVR and OP updated that I had a RFE on the ds-230. So that was 1 1/2 weeks on their part, then 2 weeks before I got the paper from my husband....I just hope that they get on the ball and adjust the RFE so I can get a case complete by the 2nd week of December!!!

Thanks again, that makes a bit more sense :) Yes, they have our emails, but neither of us has received anything, and the payment portal shows no change. You must be soooooo relieved to finally get out of NVC! How long do you think you'll have to wait for an interview?

Neither have we! I know the system is dealing with thousands upon thousands of applications of all kinds, but if they could improve its efficiency, even just slightly, it'd make such a huge difference to our lives. Anyway, here's hoping that you, Muslimqueen, I and everyone else stuck in limbo are soon done, and if by that magical second week of December, all the better :) :) :)

If you haven't received anything by Monday, call them. I never got anything for my IV bill because the computer never sent me anything - I only found out because I called the AVR - and that was 16 days later. It's annoying, believe me.

I am really relieved to be done - it was a long, frustrating process. It'll be 4-5 months for an interview. :(
