I do have few questions if you and others could be so kind to answer:

1) Why is everyone happy when they get a "login failure"?

2) What do I do with supporting documents (e.g. proofs of financial integration, wedding & vacation photos, communication, etc)? Do I bring them to the Interview?

1.Login failure is an indication that the case has been completed at NVC, and usually happens a day or two before the official confirmation.

2. Yeah, it's usually a good idea to take those to the interview, they rarely ask for them in the UK, but one would rather have it on them then and there then not and delay a visa finally being approved!!

Ha ha, thanks for the revelation re: "login failure". In my mind, I just see a happy dancing person at the blinking "Login has Failed". Happy at failure creates mental dissonance.

Yeah, it is rather backwards, isn't it? Even with that, it was one of the best feelings I've had in a looooooooong time. 3 months at NVC was far too long.

Very true! And if it makes you feel any better Mal, I was in NVC 4 months.

Let's just be glad that it's over.

That was your choice, ya goof ball.

And yeah.. it was 4 months here, too, I'm not sure why I was thinking 3.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

yeah, good luck on your expedite. i would start calling NVC now, if that is what they need. or send a letter. your case is complete, so no issues there

Thank you and thank you sdw.

We actually called NVC about it a week ago, because my husband is currently deployed to Kuwait since March 09 until March 2010. But now, we have even more reason for an expedite. They said we could, and we have all the information. My husband just needs to collect all the papers, it'll be all done and sent this weekend!

That is sooo great Bern!!!!:thumbs: Definitely get that expidition going!!! Do you know what base you are going to yet???? I spent 5 years over there and loved it!!!

I finally got my husbands papers in the mail!! I am going to go to the P.O. this afternoon and stick it in the mail!! I wonder if the NVC is open on Friday???:unsure: Oh well, it doesn't matter!! I was a case complete!!!:thumbs:

Hey K~ I have a question...when you mailed in your RFE (didn't you have one?) Did you staple the papers together or paperclip them or what????:blink:

My mind doesn't want to think straight again...oh well back to the worrying now!

yeah, since it was only like 3 pieces of paper, i actually folded them up and put them in a smaller letter envelope, then when i got to the post office, i just ended up putting the small envelope in the big one because they only accepted their own envelope for overnight mail. apparently my mind isn't thinking straight either. i said all that to say, no paperclips and no staples this time. just stuck them in the envelope.

so glad to be getting off work in an hour :P
