He has been deployed since March 2009, and he will be home in March 2010. It's been really tough...so I'm really glad that it's almost over. I'm used to seeing my husband every 2-4 months. I saw him last in July, I cried so bad when he crossed into US customs. More than I thought I would...anywho, enough reminiscing!

Well March is still a few months off so hopefully you will have your interview by then.

Isn't a wonder what getting a case complete will do for you?? Well I am hoping to get my husband's birth certifcate on Monday then I can get it sent in the mail before Thanksgiving!! So my stress headaches and checking the website and listening to the drolling voice on AVR will begin again!!!:whistle:

Good luck!

I'm back to feeling stressy until we get a date.

We are debating about whether we need to bring evidence to interview. We already submitted photos, affadavits, proof of trips, wedding pics and certificate etc to establish relationship.

Does everyone plan to take additional proof ?

I'm taking snail mail letters, mailing slips from all the packages I've mailed my husband, skype chat logs with all the calls bolded...I killed a lot of trees.

he is taking copies of everything i have submitted so far (just in case anything got "lost") he is also taken additional phone records, emails, and i have sent him several snail mail cards. and he is taken any additional pictures. i have a major lack of trust that uscis has sent everything to nvc, and that nvc will actually send everything to the embassy. my thinking is better to have it and not need it, then not have it and wish you did

David doesnt think we need any of that. He says we already established we are a real couple during this process. I keep reading posts where the interviewer never even looked at any additional documents. I wish I knew what to do. Money is very tight and I dont have anyone to watch my son if the interview is the end of Jan cos his father will be taking my daughter to Florida for her college internship. He may end up going alone. I am excited but nervous.

I never even thought of having him bring any of what we already submitted. Doesnt the fact we have no RFE mean they acknowledge having it all?

yeah, i verified with NVC over and over that they have everything they needed. she suggested that he bring his passport, appointment letter, and medical. i have read where some embassies still request additional information even after that, which is why i think it is better to be safe than sorry. delhi has been known in the past to go by their own set of rules on what is needed at the interview

Everytime I sent ANYTHING to the NVC I made copies of it and sent it to my husband. Also I have my phone records showing how much I call him. I made copies of the emails to each other from the beginning of the relationship. I don't know about the rest of the embassies, but Cairo really does look at all the evidence to prove a true relationship is going on. Also I made 2 separate photo albums. One is the wedding album and the other one is of the trip I made to Egypt when we got married and I met all his families and friends and the wedding reception. I am trying really hard to be there for the interview, time will tell.

Cairo Embassy is notorious for trying to reschedule the interview because the paperwork from the NVC hadn't been received yet. So I am making sure my husband has copies of everything.

I'll tell david and he can decide how much to take.

I tend to over think and over pack so I would take it all!

I'm so PO'd!! Turns out the postal service I've been using to send my husband random things changed it's service. So now I have to bring the package BACK to the post office, and probably NOT get my $30 postage back...I decided to just send it to my mother in law and then she can direct it from Nevada. But this is bs! >[ I hate Canada Post. And I just realized, I'd probably already have my CR visa had I applied for Philippines citizenship and my husband had applied for me there. LMAO.

Okay, done ranting!!
