I know I'm shooting myself in the foot here, but it'd be really nice if someone could be helpful and answer a legitimate question about whether they found any difficulties with NVC accepting a form by email...after all if we can compare how long it goes from login fails to formal notification of case complete, when it's pretty much redundant by that time...but hey perhaps we're all so busy celebrating we forget those that have been left behind. It's pretty upsetting to see that although we were approved at the same time, if not before, most people on here, and we're a straightforward case with no RFEs etc, we're now probably going to be lucky if we get a case complete in January. And no, it's not just about wanting to be with my spouse, just like everyone else on here, but the responsibility of also trying to arrange for the lifelong care of a rather sick parent with complex issues at this end.

Sorry, rant over!!

I sent in my DS3032 via email and it was accepted in 7 days no problem.

No other forms can be submitted via email unless you are electronic processing and only two consulates in the world do it - Montreal and Guangzhou.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

Which form? If you mean the choice of agent one we sent it by email and snail mail. Both arrived a long time before the NVC acknowledged having it. Once it was entered into system I was able to pay the IV bill. I've never been so happy to part with $400! Overall they just seem lousy about responding to email but you do get an automated response letting you know they recieved it.

Thanks, that very form. I've just called NVC, according to the AVR they recieved the hardcopy yesterday, and to wait 4-6 weeks etc, so I spoke to the operator and she said that although the email was sent on the 5th it's not unusual for them not to have processed it yet. So basically we've got another week or two, I hope, before we get the IV bill, although seeing how everything seems to be taking so much longer than everybody else, I won't be surprised if it that takes longer too.

Don't despair yet. They seem to always over exaggerate the times. Pretty much they always say 6-8 weeks but then I look at what other people are saying and it is usually quicker than they say.

For whatever reason we are usually amoung the last ones whenever people move to the next step. I really can understand the frustration. I always feel happy for my VJ friends but a bit sad for me when it happens. Try not to let it get to you. When it does feel free to vent. ;)

based on the recent 14 days for approval of 3032 I would say the IV should be ready to be paid sometime next week...Good luck!
