I am very very happy to say that I received my appointment letter and the interview on December 31st 2009.

Same time I am a little sad that need to wait 2 more months for the interview. I am planning to call embassy and ask for pre-ponding the interview. Hopefully it should work.. Pray for me pls.. !!

I-130 Sent : 2008-09-17

I-130 NOA1 : 2008-09-19

I-130 Approval : 2009-04-10

NVC never recieved my approved application. After months of enquieries through the the USCIS Field Office (not at all a pleasant experience), USCIS service requests and the Senators office, I was told that USCIS lost my original application and I was asked to resubmit my I-130 paperwork. Fortunately, I had made an exact copy of the packake per VJ instructions!

I-130 NOA1: 2009-07-31

I-130 Approval: 2009-08-30

NVC Recieved: 2009-09-12

DS 3032 Email sent to NVC: 2009-09-15 (Sent DS 3032 email before recieving Email from NVC)

DS 3032 and AOS Email from NVC: 2009-09-16

AOS Bill Paid: 2009-09-16

AOS Bill status changed to PAID: 2009-09-21

AOS w/ barcoded coversheet sent to NVC: 2009-09-21

IV Bill paid: 2009-09-29 (IV bill became available online)

DS 3032 accepted and IV bill generated: 2009-09-30

IV Bill status changed to PAID: 2009-09-30

DS230 w/ barcoded coversheet sent to NVC: 2009-10-01

Yipee! Are you going through Delhi or Mumbai? December 31? That is pretty late. I'm hoping for a January interview. Hopefully, you'll get some good news regarding preponing the interview. :)

Congrats on case complete finally after all the bumpy rides ;):thumbs:

You could call the embassy and try to reschedule, you just have to make sure your file is already there. This is what I did and I was able to reschedule with 3 weeks forwards.

Also, could you correct your timeline, please? Thank you and good luck in the rest of the journey :thumbs:

Hey Chris.. I have updated the timeline now.. Once I contacted the embassy they told me that I need to mention a reason for getting the interview date re-scheduled.. Dont know what reason they will consider.. :(
