Glitch with NVC IV bill pay site

Hi, I made IV bill payment yesterday(online) yesterday and the payment status of it changed from NOT PAID to IN POCESS. But when I check the bill pay site this morning, the status has changed back to "NOT PAID". I called NVC and they do not have any record of the transaction being processed in their system. My bank account shows a $400 pending transaction. I am surprised why the online bill paysite would show the status as "NOT PAID" instead of "IN PROCESS".

Has anyone experienced this before?

2009-09-30 -> I-129 Approved

2009-09-30 -> I-130 Approved

2009-10-14 -> NVC Received

2009-10-15 -> Received/Sent DS-3032

2009-10-15 -> Received/Paid I-864 Bill

2009-10-19 -> Send I-864 Packet

2009-10-26 -> NVC Received DS-3032

2009-10-28 -> Receive/Pay IV Bill Pay

2009-10-29 -> Send DS-230 (Overnight)

2009-10-30 -> NVC Received (DS-230) 11:00 AM

2009-11-03 -> NVC Entered DS-230 in system.

2009-11-09 -> Received email requesting DS-230....

2009-11-12 -> Log in to Consular Electronic App Center failed!!

2009-11-13 -> Case complete

2010-01-12 -> Rescheduled from [2010-01-25] Interview [Approved]

2010-01-14 -> Pick up passport.

2010-01-17 -> Depart

Yep...it's happening to a LOT of people lately.

Next time you log in, click on the "payment receipt" icon and it SHOULD show as being paid...so that should be some solace at least.

I called NVC about it this morning and was told that I shouldn't have paid it until I was told to...but that the system should correct itself in a day or two.

Keep your chin up. I've seen accounts of at least ten people in the last day or two with the same issue.

Opted In to Electronic Processing: 10-19-09

SO DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE WEBSITE CAN SHOW THAT THE IV BILL HAS BEEN GENERATED AND CAN BE PAID, BEFORE THE NVC SENDS YOU NOTICE FOR YOU TO PAY IT??? AND IF WE PAY IT AS SOON AS WE SEE IT AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM THE NVC WILL THIS CREATE A BIGGER MESS AND DELAY OUR PROCESSING??? omg!

I didn't get the bill pay notification(email) from NVC until this afternoon but the IV bill was invoiced yesterday and I made the payment as soon as it was invoiced. It wasn't a problem. The payment cleared earlier this afternoon and I went ahead and sent the IV package out already.

2009-09-30 -> I-129 Approved

Wait till the next day when the e-mail has been processed... LOTS of pepole have gotten stuck because they jumped the gun on paying before invoiced... Check in the NVC September and October threads to see what I mean...
