Jeanne, where did the two of you go for your anniversary? The last time we were in AZ, my dad took us to this steak place ( I think it started with a P, can't remember the name) they had all these gift shops and an old western shootout. We loved it!

I decided to volunteer at my church to host the Christmas Tea this year and had to go for a meeting. I was handed this long sheet of paper of what I needed to do Holy Moly, what did I get myself into! I wish I knew what was involved before I made the commitment.

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts for yesterday. It was a good family day, lots of family coming together.

Today is a day of celebration of life for my brother. He was a big Disney fan so we have a van load of relatives going to the magic kingdom to hang out and have fun, remembering my brother and having a good time all in one!

We decided to go to Red Lobster. We always have great lobster and crab legs!

Name of the steakhouse is Pinnacle Peak. Yes, it's really alot of fun having dinner.

Along with the "shoot out", I love the saloon! Makes me feel like a real cowgirl

I am so proud of my daughter and her husband. They took in a family last year that needed a place to stay. What a generous, selfless thing to do. Makes for a full house, but they are all surviving! As I watch Jessica (my daughter) grow into a loving, caring woman I am so proud of her. Everytime we talk on the phone...before we hang up she says 'I love you' ....and if she dont say it, she calls back to say..I love you mom How cool is that!

My son is going to college and getting all A's this year! All sacrifices are worth it to see your children succeed.

Hubby update: Ibrahim has 2 more months of a government work contract then he can come back to America. I will (fingers & toes crossed) be moving into a new apartment tommorrow! The kitchen and bath has new ceramic tile on the floor and new carpeting in the other rooms! (flooring is totally important to me!..lol) The new apartment is only a few blocks from my work. I'll post some pics of it after I get the key. Oh snap I'm gonna have to go to my friends house to steal her internet to do that!

I had to do the strangest measure the other day for flooring. It was at a funeral home. I measured so damn fast the tape was FLYING thru the air! lol. He opened a door and said..'this is the casket room' Oh man........I was thinking get me the F outta here! My co-worker got to go measure a strip club I love my career. Going to work is not even work, it's like going to my other home.

Good Mourning, everyone. I'm off to a late start probably cos I don't have enough coffee in me yet. I think I will rake some leaves and do the dreaded laundry. Apart from that, it's another boring day.

Nagi...I don't even want to think about what I have to tackle at home...laundry is one of them.

During lunch today I am going to search for a pumpkin. Carving will be hubby's job this year.

Tomorrow is my little girl's parade at school..sadly is may conflict with my boss' dr. appt.

Hi Nagi, been thinking about you. How are you doin.

I know about leaves. We have 7 trees in our back yard and none in our front and we have our leaves and everybody and their brother's leaves. Kamal needs to go out and rake. I told him i'd buy a blower but he said no. Oh well, better him than me.

I 2nd the leaves. My yard is FILLED! Were getting the yard airrated tomorrow so we gotta get em all up today.

Sofyan called me from work and said he has a sore throat and runny nose. Boy oh boy i pray its not h1n1. I stripped all the beds and am washing them now, lysoled the floors and clorox wiped every surface and door handle. He will go to CVS mniute clinic today after work and get tested to be sure. Cant mess around bc I cannot afford to get sick i have NO time off from work til january 1st. And we definitly dont want the lil man to get it. Praying for a healthy household.

Hope everyone has a good day. I go back to work 9-5 tomorrow then am off all weekend! yahooo!!! Cant wait to see zaid in his halloween costume

eta: Jax you should be a proud momma and grandma. Its wonderful when your kids are all successful. I feel sad when people only have one or two kids and both are lazy/addicts/alcoholics/etc.
