Can an I-129f expire?

For me this entire process has turned out to be a big PAIN IN THE A$$!!!!

I received my NOA1, Jan. 23, 2006, then some IDIOT sent it to

El Paso Texas where it sat for 3 months before they figured it out

It was in the wrong location. Finally on July 3, 2006 it made it way to the CSC.

Now a couple of questions:

Can an I-129f expire?

CSC is processing application for March 03, 2006

Would they readjust my receipt date to July 03, 2006, if so, this would put

me about 11 months behind schedule. Or would it stay the same Jan. 23, 2006,

in which case they should be working on it now. I just don’t get any touches or

updates which tells me they are not working on it.

All this because it was sent to El Paso Tx by mistake.

I have a letter from the El Paso service center that states it was sent there erroneously.

I’m going to fax this letter to the CSC, asking that my application be expedited.

And call your SENATORS!!!!!!!!! It should definitely be at the top of the list. They can help.

A petition wont expire whilst it is still being processed. However an approved petition will. It has an expiry of 4 months from date of approval which can be extended by the consulate if it expires prior to the interview.

Like Wench said, you´re fine. After NOA2 then you have 4 months of validity before it expires.

How can you STILL be waiting? Didn't your senator already request the expedite for your weeks ago based on their #### up sending it to El Paso? You need to contact your senator NOW. If the person who helped you before is not responding, call another one. There is NO explanation for this.
