Don't forget April Wine, Carla! (Carla and I went to the same school.)

Oh God. Now I'm going to have that song (Make Me Do Anything You Want) stuck in my head all day. :crying: Listening to it 50,000,000 times on the radio wasn't enough. Ugh. :bonk:

hey i saw them in concert with rush back in 1978 or 1979!

Ooh. That would have been a good concert. Hemispheres is still my favorite Rush album, with A Farewell To Kings a close second.

I saw Rush in concert in 1997 on the Different Stages tour, and it was a great show...but I'm sure it would have paled in to comparison to seeing them in their prime in the late '70's.

How about RUSH and MAX Webster - New Years Eve concerts at Maple Leaf Gardens....Also saw RUSH Farewell to Kings Show.

Any Toronta people remember GENTLE GIANT?

LPR since 2003 and will be applying for Naturalization soon. Currently working on I-130 for my son.

I'm sure he would! CBC is the only station he has ever listened to as long as I can recall! And I know I'm getting old as I tend to enjoy it now and then, lol

CBC radio was on in my house every morning since I was a little kid. Joe Cote and Jim Curran on Metro Morning, Bruce Rogers for Radio Noon, Cross Country Checkup and of course As It Happens. I still have a Dr. Bundolo card and iron-on that Pop sent away for years ago.

Long before my time, but I have heard of them. BTW, Kim Mitchell will be playing the Fall dance at Earl Haig. Sorry, I forgot, this isn't 1972.

Ha! I'm not a Toronta person, but I have most of Gentle Giant's albums...Three Friends is my favorite, but Acquiring The Taste has my favorite GG song: "The House, The Street, The Room."

Gary Green was one of the most underrated / little known guitarists of '70's rock.

He wasn't Frank Marino but he was pretty good.
