Deported? Was he in the US? Please give more details on that.

What was his sentence for the sexual abuse?

His case will certainly fall under Adam Walsh, however more details will be necessy to determine if he is inadmissable

Adam Walsh? I don't know what that means. Pls. explain. Anyway, back in Nov. 08 he was arrested because he ex wife said he had sexually abused their daughter when she was 4yrs. old (don't have a clue why she waited until the child was 9yrs old to do anything about it). Anyway, he was in jail in the U.S. and finally in July 09 they offered to drop the charges from sodomy 1st degree (felony) to sexual abuse II (misdemeanor). We took the deal (mistake now I know, but after 8 months of his sitting in jail we thought it sounded like a good deal). Anyway, I hired a lawyer and thought we were going to immigration court in Chicago, IL. However, he called me one night saying that ICE had dropped him off in Mexico. Now he is there, I am here and I need him back. Money is extremely tight and I don't have that kind of money it requires to file (without borrowing it) so I am wondering what all I am up against.

I forgot...his sentence was 12 months, but he didn't serve a day, he was transferred directly to ICE the following day after court.

Adam Walsh Act makes certain immigrants inadmissable due to the nature of their crime.

Was your husband illegally in the US before he was deported?

immigrate2us.net has free chats where you can ask immigration lawyers your questions. Plus, that site is excellent for waivers and people with spouses in mexico

Good luck.
