Another of "Art" .. that's not Art at all.

Remember when you were a little kid and your mom would praise your "art work"?

At some point in time you are suppose to realize Art has value, Art takes talent, Art is something the beholder most often can't do.

This is the problem with all this so-called art, (which I see all over America)...it's not anymore "art" than my second grade creations were.

Geezus Danno, do you EVER just cut loose and enjoy a laugh?

Is it just you, or are all so called "conservatives" so uptight about everything?

A giant ####### would be better.

Here ya go:

Be warned-kinda nasty.

 That is scary. Thank god real ones aren't that big.

Personally, I like 'em small and tight, not big and roomy.

That's how I like my sheep too.

Not all art is simply decorative art. Art has a much wider meaning than that. What art means, and whether it has any monetary value are really unconnected questions.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Such a confined view art means that you can never really understand the principles of art.

I recognize it's a pet peeve of mine, I just hate seeing people call stuff "art".. when I could make the same thing myself.

We have so much of this silly stuff around my city and across the country it baffles my mind how Giant clothes pins (statues) are passing for art (and tax dollars pay for it.)

It's one reason I love to visit Washington DC as you can actually find things that inspire, art that requires a "Masters skill" to create.

Well, I don't think the argument that you can do it yourself is really applicable. A lot of things are easy to do once they have already been done.

However, I agree that this is pretty ridiculous for a children's park. I enjoy a good laugh but honestly, I don't see it as funny.

It's not clear it was a children's park, and clearly if parents and educators can't cope with explaining a giant pair of boobs attached to a teeny tiny girl, they aren't really fit for the job.

And since it is in China.... perhaps next we will see the tiny guy with a huge pecker attached?

That would be "life lesson" No. 2 for the parent to teach.

That's easy. Just have Eric pose in Golden Gate park. You can see that display next time you visit San Francisco.
