Hi,

I am currently filing for adjustment of status and employment authorization.

I have received a notice today that tells me that the production of my green card has been ordered and may take up to 30 days to arrive. My employment authorization application is still pending with no sign of being confirmed any time soon.

My question is - once you receive your green card, do you even need the I-765 employment authorization? Is it "built in" to the green card?

So many people do not read the guides for information.

EAD is for BEFORE the Green Card so you can work early. The EAD is canceled automatically when you get the Green Card.

The same thing for AP.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

You are good to go, bladeskink.

The GC allows you to work and travel without needing anything else.

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony
