what can be the reasons for the delay?

I'm an August filer still waiting for my EAD approval, it's starting to drive me crazy :bonk: , I guess I'm the last August filer still on hold. I'm just curious if you know what they check this time, what can be the thing holding me back?

I had the same problem with our K1, after the RFE we waited like forever to get our approval. Do they perform again security checks?

The USCIS can take up to 90 days or longer to issue the EAD. If you have an RFE then the time for the RFE will delay the process. Sometimes K1 filing for AOS will get the green card quickly and no EAD or AP will be issued.

If you do not receive your EAD by November 16th (90 days) you can schedule an infopass and ask for an interim EAD.

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Aug 18 - Checks cash

Aug 21 - Received NOA Receipts

Aug 31 - Receive Biometric Appointment Letter

Sep 22 - Complete Biometric appointment

Oct 15 - EAD production ordered

Oct 19 - Receive Interview letter

We're in the same boat as the lot of you, with the exception that we filed for EAD a bit later than August. Our 485 was transferred to CSC, which means we'll probably get the GC without an interview. At this rate, the GC is going to arrive before the EAD ever does.

February 2008: Met while in Thailand

March 2008: Traveled to Russia to see her

May 2008: Traveled to Russia to see her

June 2008: Joint vacation to Italy

July 2008: Applied for and received B-2 tourist visa

August 2008: She comes to U.S. on B-2/ I proposed

October 2008: Traveled to Russia to see her and meet family

November 11, 2008: Filed for K-1, California Service Center

November 19, 2008: I-797 NOA1 received

December 2008: Went back to see her again

January 21, 2009: NOA2 received

January 29, 2009: Notice file sent to Embassy received

February 4, 2009: She comes to U.S. on B-2 for vacation in Hawaii

March 2, 2009: She receives notice of interview date and time

April 7, 2009: Interview in Moscow - Approved!

April 2, 2012: Removal of conditions approved w/o interview, 10 year GC in the mail!
