I know this may sound like a stupid question but I don't believe this issue was addressed in the K-1 visa step by step guide.

Does the I-129F eliminate the need this or do you need both the Nigerian Passport and the Fiancee Visa?

What did you all do about the guarantor requirement?

I'm not understanding what you mean by the guarantor for the k1 application.......are you talking about information contained in your affidavit of support?

Hi, thanks for responding.

No, the Nigerian passport instructions require the applicant to submit a form for a guarantor and all the pages of the guarantor's international passport for the passport interview.

If you all can answer how your fiances' got a guarantor or if it was necessary, it would be most appreciated.

I think you are getting visa instructions and passport ones confused. To get a Nigerian passport as a Nigerian born citizen you have to provide proof of birth ( birth certificate ) and the rest of the required forms photos and fees. I noted the website claimed that is may take 5-6 weeks this time of year.

Yes you are correct about the Nigerian Passport, but 1 of the required forms is a Guarantor form.

I guess no one really knows how their fiance completed this form or if because its Naija they really needed to.

I found the form on a spainish immigration site. It looks like he needs someone to promise to pay Nigeria back in case he is deported. Kind of a reverse I 134 here is the sites instructions for the form
