Hey guys,

My father finally got his interview date in Abuu dhabi. I was wondering if any one know anything about the typical interview questions.

Also, I am concerned about my father's DS-230 form. He has done the compulsory military training about 30 years ago in the middle east(here the military training is mandatory by law for all males). now, I am concerned that the positive reply to the military training question in DS-230 form would make him ineligible to get immigrant visa to the US, eventhough he is 62 years old. Do you think I worry too much?

Please advise.

Thanks

sam,

Yes, you worry too much. And about the wrong things.

A negative answer would make your father ineligible - for making a material misrepresentation, if this question is considered to be material. If not material he should be able to change his answer when he's questioned about how he got away with never doing military service when serving is required by law of all males.
