Hi Folks,

Thanks a lot for guiding us in the visa journey. My wife filed I130 on 21/09/2009 and NOA1 was received on 30/09/2009. But the priority date was null in that. Will this cause any delay in getting NOA2? As per USCIS, our petition is under initial review and till now there is no RFE/touches...Yes, like everyone, we are patient enough and is praying...

Regards

Aby & Amy

moving to IR-1/CR-1 Process and Procedures...

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

In most cases, there is no priority date for a SPOUSE or a PARENT - as those types get IMMEDIATE PRIORITY.

A Null Date is ok. Don't sweat it.

A few of my visa circle got priority dates of 1 day prior to the NOA-1 date for a CR-1.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
