Sure i will work on scanning it tonight..

@bn010809 - Can you scan/post a copy of your blue slip?

I just scanned my first blue "RFE" slip (what you got...) and saved it under "My Photos." I also have a copy of the 2nd blue "AP" slip, our pink "Approval" slip, and a copy of the US Visa.

it's going....

Once you turn in the required information. They will isssue another Blue telling you to go home and wait. That's about it. It is called AP (Administrative Processing) according to what people on here call it. If you spend time and read what others says about the AP process, it is not pretty. I am not trying to scare you but that's reality and you must face it. Eventually, most will get approved. The time it takes to get approved is hard to tell. Some people got approved rather quickly while others have to wait for months. No one knows for certain. Be strong and be positive!

Also, I notice you say Nov 25 is the day you need to turn in your information. That is Thanksgiving holiday. The Consulate is closed that day, isn't it?

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

When you submit the requested documents, you will either get a blue "AP" slip or a pink "approval" slip or a white "denial" slip...GOODLUCK!! I haven't heard of anyone being re-interviewed...yet.

Once you post the slip experience VJers will be able to help you more...

The 25th is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the 26th, I work for a local governmental agency and we have off the Thursday & Friday.

My husband's slip said to submit his July 3rd (July 4th is US independence day...we got to take off July 3rd though...) and they extended the submission date to July 8th so it's good advice to check with the Consulate.

It depends on what your slip says and what you end up deciding - to take it in or not. Some people have submitted early and gotten pink, others blue. Some (like me & my husband) waited until the date on the notice. I would recommend reviewing the documents you are considering submitting to fulfill the requirements and make sure that it strengthens your case.

You (the US citizen) can email them at hcmcinfo@state.gov or visit them during visiting hours which I believe is Tuesday and Wednesday between 3:45 and 4:45. <--someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

Your spouse/fiance (the beneficiary) can attempt to visit them, but most likely they'll send you to the exterior window to speak to a employee regarding case status or submission of additional info...

That list of relatives is usually for the beneficiary. That's weird that they would ask you, the petitioner, for this info. But then again, maybe not. I was questioned by the CO about my housemate. He moved in shortly after I came back from my 1st trip after meeting my husband. He also attended my wedding and wrote an affidavit regarding knowledge of my relationship and my husband. I guess everything matched up since we got approved...They may be requesting this list to do some background checks on you.

Get started on gathering these things (f you haven't already or review it if you already have things lined up.

For the list of relatives, do exactly as instructed. Did you check out my initial blue slip? It asked for the beneficiary's list of relatives, so we did exactly that, but went a little further providing a copy of her driver's license, birth certificate, and family registration book to show proof of relationship.

For the timeline, search and use the other threads as a guide to writing your timeline. Make sure you address specifically what is requested on the blue slip. I'd recommend posting your timeline on here as well so that experienced VJers can give you honest feedback. I think the most important thing is to be consistent and not to contradict anything that you've already provided to them. Be open, be honest.

Also, per your notice, it appears as if you can submit earlier. Take your time to submitting the requested items as you need to cover your bases and make sure everything is concise and in order.

Question.

i will be in vietnam that time (nov 25-resummite date) should i come in with my fiance to summit?

do you think they will let me go in with him??

If they dont; let me in with my fiance, should i go in for my fiance?

please give me advise of what to do...

quote]

The guard in front will not let you enter together. If you want to join your fiance inside do not let the guard see you together. Fiance can enter with the blue paper in hand. You enter a few minutes later using only passport and some ducumanets in hand. Tell the guard you came to submit documents. Between 1 and 2pm is common time to submit additional evidence. Once you are inside only one of you may aproach the window when your number is called. They like not having witnesses. At least you won't have to sit outside wondering and worrying.

You can request to go inside from the girl at the outside window but she will have to call and get approval from a supervisor. Usually the answer will be no, cannot go in together.

Try to keep the blue paper. It can be used as a pass for your fiance to get inside again if you want to submit more evidence at a later time.

Good luck

Good luck to all,

Fred

If you can't do what you want to do, do what you can do.

What happened when you submit docs for the Blue?

BN010809 and I myself both had benifiecirys go in OCt28th the first time and both of us got the blue slip telling to return Nov25th. But they only wanted the timeline from me. She went back in again today. Stood in line around 12, and didn't get out til 5. She wasnt asked anything else, just to submit the old blue slip and new evidence. AGAIN another blue slip. This time the letter was in mostly english(shes still learning and at the time really sad and didn't want to try and read the paper for me), put she did read off Section 212(a) 6 © i. Did a little searching around, and if im not mistaken under that code/law it means

IN GENERAL. - ANY ALIEN WHO, BY FRAUD OR WILLFULLY MISREPRESENTING A MATERIAL FACT, SEEKS TO PROCURE (OR HAS SOUGHT TO PROCURE OR HAS PROCURED) A VISA, OTHER DOCUMENTATION, OR ADMISSION INTO THE UNITED STATES OR OTHER BENEFIT PROVIDED UNDER THIS ACT IS INADMISSIBLE.

This really sucks, but when she gets home later shes going to email me the slip, and i'll start thinking or finding out what i have to do next when i know more. Has anyone got section 212a.6.c.i ?? :crying: ANyone maybe start pointing me to the right way..
