Awesome!

I have been going to the gym since just before Xmas and I still have not lost anything more the 1lb...its awful! I find it soooo hard to lose weight. I can't afford ANY kind of diet help program and I can't afford to fix all these big expensive healthy meals which makes it very difficult. I try and eat somewhat good,, but even if I am eating rice cakes instead of bagels for lunch I STILL don't lose an ounce. I go to the gym 5 days a week. Its quite frustrating....Even if I judge by trouser size...nothing is loosening... :(

When I was in my DH's country I lost weight. He didn't say too much about it. I lost 50 lbs in six months. When I went home I ended up ill and losing 15 more pounds.

Talking to him yesterday he was so happy because I gained back the 15 lbs. He said if he had wanted to marry a skinny woman he would have married a woman from Jordan. They are all tiny there. I didn't know he had felt this way. He said if I lost all my weight, he would still love me however, he preferred me like he met me. If I was unhealthy that is one thing, but I am not. Yes there are tons of men out there who like bbw's (big beautiful women) he happens to be one of them.

Ask your husbands how they feel. It might surprise you. Eating healthy is the key. Starving yourself, is not.

Moh is the same way. I'm not sure how much weight I've lost but I'm down a size since the beginning of last month. I tend to lose weight in my face and neck first. I took a recent photo of myself to send to Moh. He flipped. He doesn't like thin women and he's afraid I'm losing too much weight. As if there's such a thing ;)

very true. My fiance loves me as I am as well. I DO however have a 4 yr old daughter whom I feel I have not enough energy for not to mention my cholesterol is probably through the roof! lol My fiance is also trying to work out in the UK....somehow I think we will both be more succesful when we get to eat healthy together and go to the gym together as well...I lack motivation when on my own (ones that support groups DO NOT help)

Well I was a size 20 a few weeks ago - now those size 20 jeans can be pulled off button and zip closed. I have been comfortably wearing my size 18 jeans and trousers... today I pulled out a pair of size 16 trousers that I have not worn since 1996 - these trousers are stretchable... and even though they are an extremely tight fit I can wear em... button and zip closed too :lol::lol::lol: Am over the flipping moon

My ####### hurts from riding the exercise cycle... but heck I am aiming to be size 14 by the time I get married... am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo motivated now :luv:

Congrats! I am working on my waitline too! Trying everything out there (healthy)

BTW love your quote on your pic

Congratulations. I have been trying to loose weight for months. I go to the gym every week day morning, I watch what I eat and so far I have lost nothing. My Doc says it to do with a medication I take. I am seriously thinking of stopping the meds for a few months!

First of all......congrats to everybody that lost weight. Keep up the good work :)

I'm a size 18 right now and very unhappy with it. I put on a whole size since I'm in the states.

But I started going to the gym. So I try to go at least 3 times a week but honestly........I havent lost anything. Even worse I gained almost 2 pounds. I watch what I eat and we eat out just once a month. I agree with bluerain....it is very frustrating!!

I'm honestly glad that I found this thread. Its good to hear that other people are struggeling too, but find a way out. So hopefully I can too.

I know hubby loves me just like I'm but I dont like my body and I'm sure a lot of you have the same problems.

Don't underestimate the "building muscle" factor when you're working out a lot! Muscle is heavier than fat- so if you loose fat and build up muscle- how would you loose a lot of weight?

Keep it up, I'll join you in the gym tomorrow :)
