Hello everyone,

Our CR1 case is still in the NVC process. Today, my husband asked me to make copies of ALL the packets I've sent to both the USCIS and the NVC and send them to him. He feels, he should have all the documents in hand for his interview...just in case they ask him for anything.

Can anyone tell me if I should do this? Is it needed? I have lots of telephone bills to show our constant calls, I have our chat logs and emails too. Should I send all this to him for him to be prepared? We have the normal stuff like pictures, letters from my children to him, gift receipts, travel documention...Anything else that we should have?

Thanking you in advance.

Liz

Very good idea, I have made copies of everything even the paid reciepts from the bills at the NVC, my last visit in August I gave him his duplicate package as I have seen on the interviews in Egypt from one that the NVC hadnt sent there case to the Embassy so if he has all the documents in case he will have back up. You can read the in the Egypt reviews to see what Im talking about in the case of the NVC package not arriving when the interview date was.

Wow guys...this is a lot of docs but it's all well worth it. Thanks a lot! I do have the I-130 and the I-129 packets copied for him. I will continue to copy everything else just in case. Thank you again.

I saved the I-130 and the I-129f packet copies until I received the NOA1 and NOA2s and sent it all to my husband. Then once I got the receipts for the AOS and the IV bill, I made copies of those and a copy of the IV packet plus copies of phone bills, text messages to his number, emails, cards, letters from my relatives and 2 big photo albums to take with him for his interview. I don't want them to say that he didn't have something they needed. Oh! Also after reading a couple of interviews, I sent him my original divorce papers from my ex-husband. It seems like they have been asking for that....

Good luck!!
