Hello VJ members/family,

It has been about 10 days since NVC received our DS-3032, via USPS mail (Return Receipt) and 15 days since my husband sent them via email the DS-3032. Does it usually take this long? I knew it was too good to be true. If you look at our timeline our process moved rather fast. Now, I feel we hit a bump on the road...

This monday, I mailed our completed I-864EZ packet. Can anyone tell me how much longer this process can take? I know that I have not given them much time to process our paperwork but I just wished I had some word on when our papers will be accepted and/or approved. I called NVC yesterday and of course they told me that though I have a "Return Receipt" from the USPS, that only proves our DS-3032 has made it to their facility but not processed. Obviously! She could not tell me anything more.

Can anyone reassure me and tell me I am still in good time or standing in this process???

Thank you.

Liz

You can see my timeline here it took a while for ours to process also. Its a hard I know, but at least its better then waiting on the petition to be approved at the USCIS level. Good luck to you Liz

Thanks Sandra. You too! It is frustrating. The waiting game "kills me!"
