Hi, i just want to ask if there's anyone who get mail or packet from the USEmbassy who's NOA2 are approved dated Sept. 29,2009. Just getting anxious that untill now we don't hear anything from them yet if we are now eligible to be scheduled for a visa interview. I am hoping that i can be with my fiance before the end of this year so hopefully i can schedule for my interview soon.

I Want to hear something from you fellow VJ's... thank you!

Fransha, The 3 options you have are to:

1. Call the NVC and ask for the status of your case 603-334-0700 8:00 am til 12:00 pm EST

2. Call the DOS and ask for the status of your case 202-663-1225 8:00 am til 5:00 pm EST

3. just wait until the Embassy sends the beneficiary the letter telling you that you are eligible to schedule..(I personally dont recommend this on coz you will go crazy waiting)

BTW the times I gave you are estimates coz I cant remeber exactly... but they are close.

hi DennisandDane and Godsgift, i thank you guys for the quick reply. My Fiance called NVC now and they said they got the case already on October 13 and forwarded it to USEmabassy Mla on the same date. So i called US Embassy it confirm if they receive already our case from NVC and the person i spoke with told me that it's already on their system and they received in on the same date that the NVC sent it ( OCtober 13, 2009) but she says that our case status is we're not yet eligible for scheduling interview and have to wait for 2 weeks from now for the mail coming from them. I don't really know what makes them too long to send me the mail and i am getting anxious in waiting. I am really hoping to have it soon so i can schedule for my medical and interview very soon.

Again, thank you so much guys...

Hi again DennisandDane,

Is DOS means Dep't of State? I'm not so sure but if that's the case, i'll ask my fiance to call DOS then tomorrow to know if we are eligible for interview already even the USEM says we're not yet. I've been waiting for that mail 15 days now but i don't really know why i have'nt have it yet. When i am viewing timelines of other K1 Visa's its shows that they just had the mail withing a short period of time only.

Thank you again for the big help.

Godbless you guys...

Dos is dept of state and they can tell you if USEM has you in their system. If they do then you are able to schedual the interview. No need to schedual anything for medical, you can walk in anytime monday through thursday to have it done. Good luck.

call 1-202-663-1225 and give them your receipt # and then they will give you your MNL case # and ask them if they sent your files over to us embassy in manila yet and what date did they send then if they did, give two weeks and then call usembassy manila interview number, the one that your fiance uses credit card or your payphone there in philippines and they will give you dates for interview. then you will also get letter mailed to you DHL always late but you will have your interview date then you will get email confirmation too

No, he didn't call yet. Did you call DOS too to check if you're eligible for interview?

We're just patiently waiting right now...

Thanks again,

Fransha,

this is just my opinion... but dont wait.. you might get old waiting on the letter.. start calling DOS everyday if you want they dont care... but if you do call everyday you will know the day that they send out the letter... and the day it is sent out is the day you are eligible...

Of course this is only my 2 cents worth of advice for today hehe
