Actually the NOA is dated nov 20th, when mailed the envelop was postmarked Nov 24th but did not receive it till the 11th of dec

OK, I am getting confused... how was your NOA dated 11/20 but your envelope was postmarked 11/24th???

Sorry to confuse you the NOA was dated 11/20

I think USCIS asks people to wait 30 days before inquiring about their biometrics letter and actual appointment. You can get an Infopass appointment and ask them about your status and your biometrics.

I will wait till dec 20th to call or make an info pass, I guess that will be 30 days, correct me if am wrong

That's when I would schedule it.

I just checked their website and they say 45 days but most people are going for biometrics within 4-5 weeks, so in case they mailed you a letter and it got lost, I would still schedule it 30 days later.

You can always cancel your appointment online, but hopefully you don't have to go that route and you will receive your letter soon.

For Susan73, yes. they haven't got NOA. (someone help them about it!)

For RocnKimcollabo, they got NOA and I just needed to know receipt date. (let me know!)

Yurika and Jim...I got my NOA1 today Dec 14th....The letter says they mailed it to me Nov 2nd but I never got anything so they sent me a second copy now.

I want to update it in that list but Im afraid i may mess it up and delete someone elses entry by mistake....

i got my bio app in the mail today, 01/04/2010. unfortunately ill be out of the country until 01/07

the only day i could try a early walk in without having to take off work is tomorrow....

are there any regulations on how the hair is supposed to look like? i have bangs and am wondering if they need to be down or can be pulled back??

We finnally got the NOA for my wife today 14 DEC 09. Sent out the I-751 form on the 25 NOV 09 and they recieved it at the Vermont box on the 30 NOV 09. The NOA says that they received it on 01 DEC 09. I guess I'll wait till we get the biometrics appointment. how long does that take?

11/30/09 - Tracked and Confermed that it was delivered in Vermont at 2:31 pm.

12/14/09 - Received NOA. Reciept date of packet says 12/01/09

12/19/09 - Received NOA Biometrics Appointment for 12 Jan 10

01/12/10 - Went to Biometrics Appointment

03/22/10 - Email Received Card Ordered for Production

Not sure if there are any regulations, but make sure you keep your face clear for too much hair covering it.

I guess if they have a problem, they might point it out...

Yes- go tomorrow and get it done with... try not to reschedule...

yeah I just got home and read the letter (NOA I-797C) and it says in there "If you have not already done so, provide supporting documents tto assist USCIS in processing your petition and to establish elegibility to remove the conditional basis of your permanent residence."

Is that normal that it says that?

So now I know that I need to send the documents to help the officer with our paper work. It also say that we will be getting the biometrics appointment notice from our local Application Support Center. So I hope with me sending off the documents needed it will help us out even more.

Yes. I've heard of several people who asked this same question and they got already approved. This is a generic letter they send so you can ignore it if you sent evidence.

Oh, I remember now.... I received that letter too.... :P

12/02/2010 NOA. Day 10

12/10/2010 Biometrics. Day 18

02/17/2011 Interview. Day 85

02/17/2011 Oath Ceremony. Day 85

02/18/2011 Applied for U.S. Passport Book/Card. Day 86

02/23/2011 Passport application received. Day 91

03/10/2011 Passport book received. Day 106

03/11/2011 Certificate of Naturalization returned. Day 107

03/12/2011 Passport card received. Day 108

My Immigration journey is finally over yes!!!

Oh, you are the guy sent off nothing but the money order and I-751 form! You got NOA at least!

Normally, you'll get your biometrics appointment letter in a few days, I think.

yeah I just got home and read the letter (NOA I-797C) and it says in there "If you have not already done so, provide supporting documents tto assist USCIS in processing your petition and to establish elegibility to remove the conditional basis of your permanent residence."

Is that normal that it says that?

So now I know that I need to send the documents to help the officer with our paper work. It also say that we will be getting the biometrics appointment notice from our local Application Support Center. So I hope with me sending off the documents needed it will help us out even more.

Yes. I've heard of several people who asked this same question and they got already approved. This is a generic letter they send so you can ignore it if you sent evidence.

Oh, I remember now.... I received that letter too.... :P

He can't ignore it because he (nickles only) didn't send any evidence!!!!

So, he need to know the timing he send it. Now or after get RFE?

I am going to send anything I can now. all I got to do is send a copy of the NOA letter. Its says so on the letter. On ever thing I send In, I have to put the receipt number and my wifes Alien card number. I'm going to send it in A.S.A.P. I'll keep everyone informed on what happen.

11/25/09 - Mailed I-751 to Vermont Service Center via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

11/30/09 - Tracked and Confermed that it was delivered in Vermont at 2:31 pm.

12/14/09 - Received NOA. Reciept date of packet says 12/01/09

12/19/09 - Received NOA Biometrics Appointment for 12 Jan 10

01/12/10 - Went to Biometrics Appointment

03/22/10 - Email Received Card Ordered for Production
