Is there anybody here who can not check the case status online? I got my NOA's not so long ago (all dated October 19th), when I go to USCIS website to check the status, I get information that my case can not be found. I'm using receipt number from NOA, which starts with MSC. Is there a problem here or is it simply too early to get updates online? Did anybody have this problem before? Please advise, I'm getting kinda nervous :(

2009.10.09 - I-130 and I-485 sent to Chicago, IL (Day 1)

2009.10.10 - Documents delivered (Day 2)

2009.10.20 - Both checks are cashed! yeah! (Day 12)

2009.10.24 - Got 4 letters: NOA for I-130, dated October 19th, NOA for I-485, dated October 19th, NOA for I-765, dated October 19th and Invitation for biometrics, dated October 21st, for Noverber 5th, 1:00 PM! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Day 16)

2009.10.27 - RFE sent by USCIS (Day 19)

2009.10.31 - RFE letter (form I-864) received in the mail (Day 23)

2009.11.05 - Biometrics done in Alexandria, VA (Day 28)

2009.11.14 - RFE sent back to Lee's Summit, MO (Day 37)

2009.11.16 - RFE delivered (Day 39)

Don't fret, been there done that and NOW have the greencard to prove it! LOL

We had gotten our NOA's and I stressed so much over it because we could only see two of them on line. I waited I stressed I got a head full of grey hair, but they state it is not uncommon.

Our NOA #'s started with the MSC (Missouri Service Center) and until the DAY AFTER OUR AOS INTERVIEW, that NOA still did not show up online. and even though we have his greencard our I-130 NOA still shows pending :bonk: LOL!

Don't stress, hang in there, and much happienss to you :star::star: ! Its a journey, hence the name of this site!

05/07/2009 Received email from CRIS that EAD card has been ordered & should arrive within 30 days

05/08/2009 Received email from CRIS that EAD Approval Notice was sent

05/09/2009 Received EAD card in mail YAAAAAY

05/12/2009 Applied for Social Security Card

05/15/2009 NOA received with I-485 interview date 07/20/2009

oh, don't worry about it, there is nothing wrong with your case!

I had the same problem and all my cases' numbers start with MSC......

06-06-2017 - Credit card charged; received text and email confirming that application was received and NOA is on its way

06-10-2017 - Received NOA letter from NBC dated 06-05-2017

I won't be the first or last to tell you that the online system is notoriously unreliable. Our I485 never even showed up until after we were approved.

Try not to worry about it. :) Keep checking periodically though, they sometimes show up randomly or when there is an update on your case.

Same was the case with me. I-485 not showing online for 4 months, And Despite the fact that I have an approved I-130, EAD, & AP, they all still display application pending........ You are fine. One day, your alerts will surprise you.

Just a little tip since others already explained why it may not be showing up...make sure you don't put the dashes in! I made that mistake at first at thought something was wrong. Little did I know I was just messing up the entire number by adding dashes :bonk:

Another thing...I was able to see my I-485 case status online immediately AFTER THE BIOMETRICS.

So check again after you do your fingerprints, you might be able to see something...
