My packet 3 was 'successfully delivered' to the montreal consulate yesterday....so I am hoping that it may be possible to get a Dec interview.....my timeline is not too far off of MooseAlmighty's so I am hoping. Si has leave starting on the 14th of Dec until into the New Year, so having a few weeks to get settled in together would be perfect!!! *fingers crossed*

2006-06: Started dating

2007-02: Moved in together in China

2008-05: Moved back to USA/Canada

2008-10: Laura denied entry at US POE

2009-02: Got engaged

2009-06-08: I-129F Sent

2009-06-11: I-129F NOA1

2009-10-16: I-129F NOA2

2009-11-09: Packet 3 received

2009-11-13: Packet 3 returned to MTL consulate

2010-02-02: Received Packet 4

2010-03-09: Interview appointment at MTL Consulate - APPROVED!

2010-03-16: Received visa :)

2010-04-08: Planned entry to US

Only 2 so far huh....how many are out there that have sent off their packet 3 and are now waiting for an interview still?

yes i share the same pain guys , i have been waiting for 4 weeks now since i sent my packet 3 !!! iam getting really tired !! i hope we will receive good news soon

pls do not tell me the interview date takes 3 months since u sent the packet3 !!! i have been waiting for 4 weeks and iam getting tired !!!

We waited about 3.5 months since packet 3, and almost 9 months since our initial I-129F petition. Some people got lucky and waited less and some people waited longer.

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Green card received: March 18, 2011

Removal of Conditions:

GC Expiration: March 11, 2012

Documents sent: December 13, 2011

NOA-1 received: December 15, 2011

Check cashed: Red said yes when asked

Biometrics: January 25, 2012

Letter approving 10-year GC: September 7, 2012

Production of 10-year GC: September 15, 2012

I just sent off my packet 3, so fingers crossed that it gets logged quickly and that Montreal is still being generous with the interviews!!!

I called on Tuesday and my packet has been logged, but no interview. At this point all you can do is wait patiently and call to see if you have an interview scheduled. I am going for my medical on Monday, and have everything else that I require for the interview already gathered. It seems like a long time, but when I look back to when we first sent in the paperwork...it really doesn't seem like all that long ago. The waiting really sucks, but it will all be worth it when you finally get to be together. I know that it is difficult not to focus on the waiting, but the more it is on your mind....the longer the wait will seem!!

Yeah honestly Hyper, I really hope you get your interview fast, but it can take 3+ months. By the time I have mine it will be just shy of 5 months since I sent mine back, but we have a lot of people who have gotten theirs within 40 days as well. Hopefully they continue to be able to crank them out.

To the rest of the people who have gotten their December interviews, good luck! I wish you an easy interview :D
