Bypassing IMBRA in CSC

I am shocked and I don't believe it! I did a timeline search of NOA1's after March 6 and came up with 5 with NOA2's in May from the CSC. How can this be? How can someone bypass IMBRA and get approved in May when they couldn't have had RFE's yet. I would think nothing of it if it were only one person, but it is five people. Their timelines look correct. I just discovered this while learning how to combine NOA1 and NOA2 dates to do a timeline search. I am tempted to send them a PM. Maybe a life (baby) and death situation?

There must be a mistake . . . I saw that one at VSC that somehow slipped through but I cannot believe there are 5. Maybe people aren't posting their timeline information correctly or accurately?

Forget the DCF thing I said. I can see 7 matches to my search now. one timeline looks wrong and one I can't see, but the other five look correct. If you want to see them do this: click on Immigration Timelines, then Timeline Search(on the left) then choose K1, and California service center(leave other info blank). Fill in the first NOA start date as 2006-03-06 and the end date blank. next where is says second NOA date start type in 2006-04-01 and in the end date type in 2006-07-01. I haven't seen a post on this surely some noticed this before. I guess a few people slipped though IMBRA in May!

Lots of assumptions being made that seem to me to have a valid reason for approval already....or it has been erroneously assumed they havent been affected by IMBRA

The 7 you refer to...

1. Sent petition 2006-03-01. Have NOA1 date of 2006-03-15. If I was to take a good guess, the NOA1 date is exactly that, not the receipt/received date as it should be. Hence if received at the service center prior to march 6 were not subject to IMBRA.

2. How do you know their petition wasnt returned even though they have an interview date listed as 2006-09-12, as I'd be willing to bet it was...Considering they only joined VJ June 6 and only posted twice, it is jumping to conclusions presuming they werent recalled.

3. Considering no real info on this couple and they only posted once....they probably did get an RFE

4. Sent petition 2006-02-21. Have NOA1 date of 2006-03-07. Can assume that they have put down NOA date instead of received date when you look at both dates, so not subject to the IMBRA

5. Did DCF

6. Sent petition 2006-02-25. Have NOA1 date down as 2006-03-08 but also has the petition as being received with WAC number dated Feb 27 2006. Take odds on they have put in notice date instead of received date and as such are not subject to the IMBRA

7. no info on.
