How many copies?

I am just wondering how many copies should I request from the local notary public. I heard that you need 1 copy each for the embassy. Where else? I am in China and the fees they charge here for notarizing are absurd. (Though, according the corresponding regulations, they should only charge 80RMB for each document).

Also, does anyone know how long does it usually take to receive P3 once you have received NOA2, at this time of year? How does the Guangzhou embassy contact the beneficiary to make sure they are sending the package to the right person?

Many thanks!

get 2 originals 3 or 4 copies, they should be free after you paid to get the originals done. after NOA2 it takes probably 2-3 months to get P3 and then a few weeks later P4+interview date. Guangzhou Consulate does not contact the beneficiary to make sure, you are supposed to make sure when you filled out the forms with her address during initial filing of the K-1.
