Hello All! I've been reading this website for quite some time and it has been sooo invaluable to my fiance and I! We just received our NOA2 today, and are now in the process of compiling things for Packet 3.

My question is regarding the I-134 affidavit of support: I (the USC) make $22,800 a year.......is that enough to declare that I can support my fiance financially without having to get a co-sponsor? I can't seem to find the specific dollar amounts anywhere......

Also, I know I have to get the last 3 year's tax transcripts for my fiance to bring to the interview in addition to the above, but if I didn't make anywhere near that amount (I only worked for 3 months here in the US the whole of last year) will that mean anything? All that matters is that I prove that I have a job currently and make the aforementioned amount, correct?

Thanks in advance for your advice on this!

The requirement for supporting 2 people is $18,213 per year. I make enough to qualify as well but I am paid hourly and my concern is that my income will not be calculated correctly and I have not been with my current job long enough to receive a W-2 for this year. I added my mom just in case to be on the safe side...We may not end up needing her but I don't want anything to delay the process. Also, make sure that you read the posts in reference to question 11 on the I-134 in the UK forums. The London Embassy is very particular in how they want that question answered. It is my understanding of everything provided and asked for at the interview that the I-134 and supporting docs is the most important to them...

This is the guideline for minimum support income, applicable to the I-134 and I-864. If you meet or exceed it, for the totality of this year; you should be OK.
