Sounds like she has too much time on her hands, could you try to find her a fulltime job, that way she has other things to stress about other than you.

The Lord is my strength and my shield,

My heart trusted in Him and I am helped,

therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

and with my song I will praise Him.

Psalm 28:7

First thing you need to do is let your balls drop into place (you know filling that void behind Mr Winky)

The truth of the matter is that she hasn't forced you to do anything and you're just as messed-up as she is to allow her to run rough-shot over you like that.

If you really want out of the marriage then you need to separate and have absolutely no one-on-one private contact with her as this would give her a chance to claim abuse.

Once you're in separate residences you need to seek counseling and get your own wires uncrossed.

She can't Adjust Status without you, are you sure it's AOS and not removal of conditions? If she came here on K3 then she can't Adjust without your support. Attend the interview and tell the IO that you're in the process of dissolving the marriage therefore you rescind your financial support, or better yet provide a written notice of such to USCIS prior to the AOS Interview, confirm that it has been received prior to the interview. Drop her off at the front door, tell her you're parking the car and just return home to move out while she figures out what to do now!

Sounds like a personality disorder (mostly Histrionic characteristics but I'm not a specialist). This can often be mistaken for attention seeking, and while you could argue that - it's more an anxiety disorder that shows itself in "attention-seeking" ways. However you need at least five of the symptoms for it to be diagnosed, so it's difficult.

You haven't said much about how you feel about the marriage itself, just how she is towards you. I mean, do you want to still be married? Do you want to separate/divorce?

she is so obsessive, sounds like egyptian wives:) god with you

try to reform her behavior, bring verses from all religions and proverbs telling about to thank god for all you have till now.try to confront her with these wrong obsessions she has,and if she shouts you might be stronger to convince her.in general these kinds of people are so weak,so don't be helpless try to be with her doing all that, and whatever your decision

good luck in ur life

sounds to me that she is pretty young and was not ready to leave her parental nest ,

constantly comparing you to her father and the way she acts sounds like a teen girl

( if she isnt a teen my apologies and hope for her sake that she will learn to grow up and act her age what ever that age is )

she treats you with no respect , you should learn to stand up for your self and dont feed into her pitty

i wont say you brought it on your self but you should have listend to your instinct

when you said from the beginning you wont marry her if things dont change ,

but its a lil late for that ,

and yes i totaly agrea with the others , i would go with her to the interview then lay the bomb right in her lap ,

telling the officer your concidering divorce and you do not want any part of her in youre near future ,

i would also start to record her threats ( get a lil digital voice recorder )

If she threatens to kill herself again, call the cops and have her taken to get help. Even if she is bluffing most the time, she needs a wake up call to grow up. You aren't forced to do anything, if you want a divorce, then get one. If you want to try and work it out, maybe go speak to someone. I think she won't say much to your friend's and family, but even if she does, I bet they are going to take your side anyways. If you do leave and start a divorce, just stay away from her so she can't get the police involved.

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!

I am asking, can she force me to goto the greencard interview with her?

Nope.

More information needed for further advice. In case I missed it, what type of visa did she arrive on? Based on current processing times, how many months before that interview? Anything else you may want to offer, such as any previous marriages or kids begot of either of you, a significant age gap, her country of origin?

You can't stop a freight train by standing in front of it, however it may be possible to derail it before it comes to town.

If she's older than 15 she has some serious issues.

Get out of the marriage while you can, and let her worry about immigration issues.

Of course she can not force you to go with her - how could she? I think it's time you need to put your foot down.

Conditional Permanent Resident since September 20, 2006

ask her to go see a psychiatrist. She has a mental disorder that can be treatable with therapy and medicine. If she refuses help and you just can't handle anymore, then divorce would be the solution.

Oh my that's so immature! How young is she? She's not supposed to be in a relationship. I don't blame you for making the choice of marrying her. Everybody takes risks and you sure don't want things to end up like that. I suggest you NOT to come in the interview. File a divorce asap!

You also have to consider te fact that she might get her greencard without an interview (yes, it is very normal) and then you are bound by the I-864 terms. So you might want to decide what you want to do before the approval. If you do not intend to stay married to her then -

1. Write to USCIS and pull I-864. She cannot file AOS without it.

2. Move out and stop all contact with her alone so she can't claim abuse.

3. Divorce.

What happens to her after that (whether she stays or leaves) is non of your concern later.

You could always go to the interview and then while there declare that you do not want to continue this relationship and you want to withdrawl your affidavit of support.......
