Thanks for your contribution

I usually contribute pretty well ask anybody... I can just see when there's no hope left. Right vs. Left generalization is getting pretty old. Seems like every issue ends with almost the same thing.

I also care about you all and your ability to type and debate over other issues later on :) So get a gelly wrist rest.

I have PM'd “anybody” and he/she refuses to vouch for you. Do you have any other references to quantify the relevance and importance of your postings?

Someone who is fiscally conservative and socially liberal is pretty confused, but not a political conservative. Social liberalism doesn't allow for fiscal conservatism. Liberalism is very expensive.

That's not true... I've known lots of people who are conservative democrats & although you may disagree with many of their opinions to call them "confused" is hardly accurate. Heck I've even heard of liberal republicans & that seems like a contradiction in terms as well. Point is unless a person's views are rather extreme (far right or far left) it's almost impossible to say they are 100% conservative or liberal.

There is a middle ground, "moderates", but less folks are choosing that title than "conservative". Of course there are "liberal" Republicans, because the party began that way, as there are "conservative" Democrats, for the same reason. Not everybody jumped ship when the parties became realigned in 1968, in 1980, and again in 1994.

You are only half right (no pun intended), since half of the posters are fighting the typical left vs right battle but the other half are arguing that conservative, moderate & liberal labels don't mean as much as some think.

You guys do a great job... at generalizing everything.

:reading:

All I see is conservatives attacking liberals and vice-versa. Just agree to disagree and move on. You're only giving yourselves carpal tunnel syndrome.

This forum isn't for discussing topics in a rational and adult fashion. It's for yelling, insulting and belittling others while attempting to shove your viewpoint onto them, all the while thinking that will actually convince them to change their opinion.

Sorry, you're right. I just figured that half had given up already and packed up and left.

Some of us have nuanced opinions, yet we still get heaped on the left pile, or the right pile. It all goes with the territory, where everybody is choosing up sides for the ultimate flame war.

OK i stand corrected. THATS THE LAST TIME!

Why the angry face? :star:

Hmmm just a lot of stress right now *hops on couch*

Do you charge by the hour?

I'm having to relocate for work, i signed the lease on the house, we received NOA2 today (which should be exciting-- but now even more stressed), its just a crazy time..

You have to move to Indiana after all?? Sure beats losing the position at least...

Hopefully a time will come when clearer thinking will accompany less stress.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I know there must be an insult in here somewhere, but I appreciate it anyway. Yes i am definitely thankful to still have the job, just stressed being dumped into a new area in the middle of nothing but Corn..

Where in Indiana again?

And no... it wasn't an insult- its a well known fact that irrational thoughts spring on people in times of stress.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Monroeville - about a 20 - 30 minute drive east of Fort Wayne. Now we have our fair share of corn-fields here in Michigan, but HOLY @$%^ I have never seen this much corn in my life.. GoogleEarth Monroeville - its a veeeery small town.. I'm sure there are smaller ones out there, but if you don't stop in this one you might miss it.
