BY: An unconventional eccentric who marches to the beat of a different drum.

Yes long lost common sense.

It's why I cannot stand the younger generation in this country. I was not born with a golden spoon up my azz. My folks worked for everything they acquired. As such, I have little to nothing in common with the locals my age. Not to mention I absolutely hate sport. I am a sit on the beach in the Greek isles, with a green or blue label and coke kind of lad, not some NFL loving type. My wife always laughs because you can spot my European dress sense a mile away. I use urban clothing to change the oil in my car.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Timeline
Best of U.S:

* Merchandise is cheap - cars, electronics, clothes etc

* Beautiful landscape and scenery - in places not occupied.

* Great variety and choice of stores

* Generally Friendly people - for the most parts of America (excludes large cities of course)

* Well mannered folk - (excludes large cities of course)

* Free to be as you please - As in, you don't have to conform to a group

* Don't like how things are run, simply move to the next county or state

* Very very diverse country - almost like 50 mini countries.

Worst of U.S :

* Infrastructure - Roads, PT, Parks, Nation's Capital (disgraceful)

* Right or wrong, everyone has an f'n opinion.

* Questionable food quality

* Idiotic Drivers + shitty trucks everywhere

* People can be self-centered - never get in front of a bitchy mom on a mission

* Fail to grasp the concept of world - as in, anything outside the US

* Cut-throat working environment - zero protection or benefits if laid off

* Has-been rundown towns and cities

* Plagued with ghettos and poor areas.

I think the driving and infrastructure here is great. What I don't like is service people: finding a sales person/ cust service that cares and knows what he/she is talking about is nothing short of a miracle. Also, businesses are always out to get you with their contracts and fine print - there is no culture of just doing things right and gaining a loyal customer.

Saludos,

Caro
