Booyah ~ I was just being silly :hehe: . I'm not calling you a liar, just saying that anybody can say they're rich, hot, better than everyone else but we're hiding behind this wall we call the internet & things aren't always as they seem. I'm sure you look nothing like that.

Amby ~ You better stop being friends with me then, I'm a lowly civil servant with a measly salary.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

we can still be friends suz :)

I really think the socioeconomic status thing is different for different people. I grew up in a family where money was always a big deal and our status in the community was very important. So money, power, influence, etc are all important to me. Everyone values different things, but those things have been instilled in me since I was very young.

My family is very different. I grew up mostly with my mom's side and the most important thing is family, hands down. For example, my mom would rather build a 3 bedroom apartment for me onto her house then let me move to an area where it's cheaper  she's nuts She says it's so I can save up to buy a house but I technically could buy a house, just not nearby  . However this is how my family is. My grandmother is the same way. It's not a weekend at my house without food and family. That might be why me & Luis get along so well, the culture is similar although he's got WAY more family than could fit in my house LOL

Which I'm sure will be offered up here as proof, rather than grand proclamation.

Extremely laughable considering it's coming from you. So far we know you live in Jersey and are from the UK. Yet you have the nerve to ask or even hint for proof.

Ooh I have... "the nerve", how dare I!?

You choose to share personal information about yourself, I don't. You seem to think the absence of my providing information somehow proves something.

On the other hand - making arbitrary proclamations that you don't stand behind. That does prove something.

I have an ongoing joke with LR, so why do you even care?

My family is also very close. If it was up to my mom, my sister and I would never be able to leave. Since I moved back home everyone is used to me being here again and just expect me to attend whatever function or do whatever charity thing they ask. It drives me nuts!

I don't really. You're the one who puts these things out there as if it proves something.

Booyah is crazy. He doesn't like being grouped together with other people. He's his own man. I think we should all just learn to deal with him like we did Eric.

I need to change my screename to: renegade

People should have realized by now that I do not do the being PC thing. I have pretty much argued with everyone here and certainly do not conform to any conventional group.

Eg crimes. He who commits them gets the bulls eye. I'm not interested in sob stories, just their actions.
