I'm beginning to think that NVC are waiting until the last possible minute, when you have lost the plot; become a fruit basket; then give you an interview date.

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

This is beyond frustrating! Is this actually legal of how they are making us feel?!

Yes.

If they can keep prisoners on death row for years, they have no problem making people wait to be with their loved ones.

Hang in there dude....and if you have the kitchen thing down....try the breakdancing :P

You need to lighten up and find something else to do. Agonizing here day after day is just not beneficial to anyone. You filed at the end of June! If you look at the historical trends that are available on this site, you will find that you are well within the normal timeframes for your case to be complete.

Neither does your constant complaining. You are making yourself crazy, obsessing like this. You really do need to adjust your expectations as to how long this process will take. And find something else to occupy your time.

I lived through the months of waiting and I didn't freak out on VJ on a daily basis. I practiced what I preach.

Feel free to whine every day. It seems to really be working for you.

Dude,

By hiring a middleman (the lawyer) you just lengthened you wait times.

We were at NVC for 2 months (2 week delay due to us missing one item on DS-230).

By using a lawyer you can't control when things get paid/sent in. We were on top of the process every step.

You made your decision, now you have to accept that you've allowed someone else to submit everything to NVC in your place and that will cost you time.

I do control when things get paid, I have all the credentials. Petition cost for I130 got paid same time as when the petition of sent off. As for IV and AOS fee's. We got invoice through on 2/10/09, we then had think of which route we wanted to proceed with. I transferred the money across on 7th Oct, US bank received it on 8th, bill was paid on 8th October, showed up at In Process on the 9th and then showed up at PAID on the 10th. Received instruction package on 13th.

We everything the NVC on 20th Oct and they received on 23rd Oct. I have the receipts. It's NVC who are taking long. It's quite easy for me to blame my attorney as she is the easiest target, not exactly going to complain to the NVC, as they have the superior power of processing my petition.

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.
