I know this may shock some people but my best friend that I grew up with is a total right-wing conservative, really extreme.

I'm more liberal, wouldn't call myself part of any political party, but I'm more hippy-like, for world peace type deal if you will.

We're still best friends till this day, but we just don't debate political issues. He bought me a cup of coffee from 7-11 during the election that said Obama on it though, and he bought himself a McCain cup. It was cute. It's always good to be able to coexist with people, be on the same level, even if you don't agree on things.
