Atlanta only has 2 terminals. North and South. South only deals with Delta and North deals with all the others. Each terminal has 5 concourses with the gates the plane leave from. So as long as you aren't connecting with a delta flight, then you should just be able to move through the concourses in North Terminal (not that it matters, they are all connected and VERY easy to move around in.

Good luck.

Once inside it's one terminal. North and South are for ticketing and baggage claim. OP is connecting and won't ever see that part of the airport.

Yup... OP just head down the escalator and take the train to your Korean airline gate. I live in the Atlanta area and travel a lot & Atlanta is one of the most organized & efficient airports I have experienced.

good luck on the trip. IIRC, getting into the international departure terminal is a hassle - as yer ALWAYS deplaning from somewhere else in the airport, with some hassle for getting to the international departure area. Hoe much lag time between flights? one hour, IMO, is not enough - I suggest 2 hours if possible.

I don't know about that. Getting anywhere inside the main terminal is very easy, and even if you're arriving at a T gate at the farthest end of the concourse, getting to E won't take you more than 10-15 minutes. That is, if you can resist the delicious Famous Famiglia pepperoni pizza.

It truly must be with the help of divine intervention that after entering into this well-defined bureaucratic process, we were blessed with the expected outcome within the predefined timeline. Praise deities!

International flights are Concourse E in Atlanta.
 Except for flights to Canada (admittedly tangential to question)
  • if by Delta, one of Delta's concourses will be used (due to that these flights will not arrive at E, as customs/immigration has been done Canada-side @ PFI)
  • if other US-based airlines (??) or Air Canada, Concourse T

Delta uses many concourses for arrivals and departures. After exiting the plane, you will go to the center of the concourse and take the escalator down to the tram that connects all the concourses. (just follow the crowds)

Be sure to go down on the proper side that will take you to Concourse E. It is well marked and there are always gate agents.
