Well - blow me down - CRA refunded me a whole $248 of the tax I paid on my EI in 2008! Better then nothing I suppose, I'm surprised they gave me back anything at all. Wish I'd filed a section 217, but I didn't get to it in time.

What shall I spend it on, my oh my ????

Wiz(USC) and Udella(Cdn & USC!)

Naturalization

02/22/11 - Filed

02/28/11 - NOA

03/28/11 - FP

06/17/11 - status change - scheduled for interview

06/20?/11 - received physical interview letter

07/13/11 - Interview in Fairfax,VA - easiest 10 minutes of my life

07/19/11 - Oath ceremony in Fairfax, VA

12/1/09 - received at VSC

12/2/09 - NOA's for self and daughter

01/12/10 - Biometrics completed

03/15/10 - 10 Green Card Received - self and daughter

Hi Udella&Wiz,

Congrats on the tax refund! What a nice surprise to get from the Canadian government, indeed! :thumbs:

As for what to spend in on...Seriously...you might have to save that up for future immigration expenses to the USCIS, as those expenses can add up further on down the road, even though you just got your AOS done recently. For example, the next stages of the immigration game is the I-751 which currently costs $545 and the next stage after that of the N-400 currently costs $675, and who knows how much more they will cost more later on down the road when you have to file for such...yup..those immigration expenses sure do add up fast...so start saving now before it's too late!

Lol...From one (Canadian) government to the next (American) government...

Sigh...one never gets to really keep their "government money"...It's the government's property.... :lol:

2009 (<1 Month) "Secured": US Citizen SSN Card.

2009 (<1 Month) "Enhanced": US Citizen NYS 8-Years Enhanced Driver's License. (in lieu of a US Passport)

2010 ( 1 Month) "Voted": US Citizen NYS Voter's Registration Card.
