Be sure to check your embassy at the "Embassy Info" link above.

For Jamaica, packet 3 contains forms and a checklist of what to gather for the interview. It also tells you to complete the DS230pt1 and return it, in order to receive an interview date.

Some countries make you sign & return something in packet 3 saying when you have everything else together for the interview, before they'll schedule the interview.

It varies by embassy, so check the embassy info or go to your regional forum.
