So many angry responses here and I don't think I read a post describing these punk racists as exactly what they are: punk racists. Anyone that is willing to accept that and tacitly 'partner up with them' in order to further their own political agenda that may overlap somewhat with those racist punks really should have their head examined.

I didn't see anyone "partnering up" with this crowd, some people observed they agreed on the one point being made.

I on the other hand was trying to find out what why the banner (and new report) referred to them as Nazi.

If they are Nazi's it;s the first time I have ever seen them "hiding it".

If they aren't nazi and just the generic "race based group"... why are they being called nazi?

But perhaps this is a new tactic, -down play the Adolf connection and play up the anti-illegal stance.

In my opinion, the crowd was more Nazi-like than the demonstrators.

one guy even kept his face covered to hid his identity as they made threats and tried to prevent these people from their right to demonstrate.

It seems odd to me that these people are labeled as Nazi's yet nothing they said or did seemed to support that.

the big lie: we are concerned about immigration but really we just hate anyone who isnt like us, so we'll use what seems like a legitimate argument in part to legitimise our real motive.

this thing about agreeing with one point of a dubious racist group, tainting the purity of an individual's political opinion, has some merit to it. your opinion in and of itself is perfectly fine, I totally agree that illegal immigration is something that needs to be dealt with, all of us here have encountered difficulty just being with our loved ones because of those that went before us that abused the immigration system, but in any developed country or legal system that kind of abuse is going to happen to some degree. when you reference your opinion however, to an extremist group,individual it takes away the credibility of that opinion. so be for illegal immigrants being deported but remember if you play pat a cake with someone with sh!t on their hands its liable to rub off on you.

no one here was validating their view, we are all giving it, but i said it takes away from their credibility if they reference an extremist group/individual( this of course is my opinion) i used that adolf hitler quote just to show you can use any distasteful historic person as a way to back up a legitimate argument. I'm not sure how it is over here, but using Hitler quotes in certain circles is seen as a no no.

continue to pick away, i'm sure someone will call me a liberal/republican/communist lol heck maybe even a racist......i'm off to do the school run!!
