Hello, i just received the letter from NVC starting the NVC process. I have to pay 70.00 no problem and my husban can choose to be his own agent and he gets the mail sent to him in Morocco. Does this mean the big 400 bill gets sent to him and he can pay it, since i cant?

Thanks in advance for any info, sweetcitywife

Salaam, yes your husband can choose no agent, but why? Don't you want to know what is going on? He should choice you, so that you get all the same mail he gets. He can pay the $400 dollars that no problem. He would just have to send it from Morocco or if he can pay online he can do that as well. Best of luck!

To pay online, you need a US account... But I agree, if he appoints you as the agent, then you both will get the e-mails...

Thanks for answering so quick. And yes i want to know whats going on, i am going back to Morocco to live with him December 5th, so my mom will be getting my US mail. I thought it would be easier if it came to us in Morocco. I look on the USCIS site and they dont say there is a bill for the Interview, where do i look this up?

Also, dirhams are illegal to leave the country, unless the embassy lets you pay it there, so ill have to leave the money wth my mom or make his sister pay it.

Thanks again, sweetcitywife

Did you call and give them your e-mail addresses? If so, then you will get notifications by e-mail... As far as the payments, you have $70 for the I864AOS and $400 for the DS230 IV package... I would recommend you pay them online at www.immigrantvisas.state.gov and a US account, it is much faster
