Well, my wife's passport and ID have her full maiden name and at the end it has "de mylastname". on her i-130 i submitted it put her name "first name, middle, mylastname" since that's the way you do it in US if you are married. Anyway, i got my aos bill with the ds3032 and i see they got ym wife's name just like it is on her passport and ID. I'm guessing it is the correct way, so they won't get confused, so i sent in the ds3032 with the name on her pasport since thats how they got her listed, and not in the order i put her name in on the i-130.

My question is, will the visa come out like that, or will we have the option to just use my lastname on her visa like how it is in the usa with any married women. Reason i ask this is because in bolivia they only add the husbands last name at the end, which does not replace the wife's last name. so her name is long on her passport. "first name" "Middle name" "Father's last name" "Mother's lastname" de "husbands last name" that is how it is written on her passport, and that is how NVC is identifying her, we just wanted to say her first middle and my last name, so will i be able to change this in the interview?

You can ask at the interview, but typically the visa will be issued with the name in the passport. This also prevents any confusion (with a different last name on the visa and passport) at the POE

Good luck.

I have heard that in many countries, this is the case (just keep adding names)... I know that if you want her final last name to be the married name, you have to make sure she changes her passport to add the married name... If her passport does not have the married name, they will not issue it with the married name and you have to pay to have it changed after she arrives... As far as if they put ALL the names on it... I am not sure, perhaps someone in the South American Forum might be able to answer that better...
