i130 noa1.. worrried,, paceing back and forth

ok all i snt the i130 and they recieved it on the 18th which was saturday but im sure they didnt get to it till at least monday and now its friday and i havent got my noa1... is this normal? cause i see many ppl get thiers in 2 or 3 days, im not sure when to hit the panic button and my mail man thinks im stalking him heheheheh pleaseeeeeeeeeee thank u

So you sent your petition via recorded signed for delivery? They might not have put it in the system yet. It took ten days for me to receive my NOA1.

Salaam sis.....it took almost 2 weeks (If I remember correctly) to get our NOA2. I know this is hard, but sorry to say....it get's harder. Wait until almost interview time....you'll be crazy with worry. Anyhow, let me know if you have any questions....I'd be happy to help.

It took 2 weeks from the time I sent the I130 until the NOA1 was sent - I didn't even get it until a few days later.

Once you receive it though, you'll be able to track your case status on the USCIS website, which helps a tiny bit...

FYI - check w/your bank to see if they cashed the check. If you get canceled checks back from your bank, you can use the receipt number stamped on the back to track your case before you finally receive the NOA1.
