Hi everyone,

Newbie here :)

My husband and I are preparing to submit the I-751 application soon and I have some questions concerning bank statements. Do we have to print out EVERY statement we have had since we first opened the accounts? We have already have our banker written letters stating when the accounts were opened and verifying that we have these joint accounts.

We also have a business account together that we have just started a couple of months ago. Should we submit statements from that account as well?

Also, how many pictures of us should we submit? I don't want to put in too many or too few. Is there a rule of thumb for this?

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone for sharing their helpful information up here. It does help ease the stress of filing. :)

Thank you.

It won't hurt to include bank statements... I actually submitted every month's statement from the time we opened the account to the very recent one. But it's just me... you don't have to follow what I did. Any financial documents that will show both your names will always be a plus point in your application, so I'd say include the business account as well. As for the photos, I submitted a lot, 6 pictures printed on every page. I probably put at least 100 photos.:blush::blush: But I guess it was ok since I got approved already.

I have not included a single statement, just the letter of the bank. Less ####### and perfectly sufficient to show that you guys intermingled finances. It's not about having the biggest package; it's about covering the cornerstones of a normal marriage.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

More ammo the better but at the same time they don't care about your finances. I just showed evidence we had joint accoints.

Did about 20 pictures and 4 per page over the last couple years with captions. Xmas, trips and parties attended together.

Will, trust, deed, health insurance etc.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
