I have been humbled and humiliated by BY's superior wit and intellect.

I am going to log out now.

Rubbish. This thread, as per usual, has played out as follows

Regardless of the number of sources, anything posted that opposes your opinion is wrong.

Your opinion alone = correct.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

BY you act like your contributions to this thread were on topic. They weren't - the first thing you posted here was an insult, which you then followed with a google image search and some vitriol against hispanics.

Wrong. You made it up that I went on a "vitriol against hispanics". The majority of illegal aliens are of Hispanic decent, hence why they are mentioned. I never said or meant (anywhere) that all Hispanics are illegal. That is your own take of my comments. Not mine.

As soon as certain people see the world minority or Hispanic, they choke up and go on the defense. Nothing else to it.

you do get what this topic is about right.. this sheriff wants to detain anybody who looks like he/she is Hispanic and you basically said you agreed with what he was doing...

that is what people are having a problem with...

I think if anyone's really interested they can read the thread from the beginning. A postmortem at the end is pretty ridiculous.

But I think we can safely say that yet again you have managed to grossly offend a lot of people with your ham handed stereotypes.

Put it this way - I think there are a lot of men in white coats running around in search of their lost patient.

Please don't laugh- I have my white lab coat on at this very moment.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

The sheriff is not doing that, neither is there any factual proof of that.

Clearly claims of racism from minorities no longer need to be verified in America. It's why a black girl in WV was able to send a group of innocent men to prison. Obviously to some of you here, this is the post-racial America you want to live in. Where a minority's word is above the law. So if an illegal immigrant is saying a sheriff is only targeting them because they are Hispanic, then they surely must be saying the truth and the whole story. Strange coincidence that Hispanics caught breaking the law are now using the exact same excuse in my area.

After all, it's not as if South America is renowned for corruption: Maybe it's us Aussies who are corrupt and we have bought the UN

Didn't know illegals were any less capable of telling things than anyone else. ;)

Unfortunately for you, credibility plays a part in the legal system. Entering a sovereign nation on your own, clearly does not demonstrate good character.

Aussies would have told all of them to go back to where they came from if since it's so bad here. This sheriff would be a hero there. then again the federal government there actually does their job, therefore, there would be no need for a sheriff to do so. Australia is not in the business of pandering to foreigners who have no visa. It's their way or the highway.
