USCIS database not working correctly

We got our NOA for the I-485 filing with the MSC number.

I went online to add that number to my portfolio. But I received a message that there was no such case number. I tried the automated phone system to check the status and once again it told me there was no case status. I finally spoke to someone at USCIS who said the system is not working correctly and many people are unable to access their records. Has anyone else been told this or had such a problem?

26 Sep 2009 | Wedding

AoS Section:

09 Oct 2009 | I-485 packet received in Chicago

06 Mar 2010 | Green Cards received

I-751 Removal of Conditions Section:

26 Nov 2011 | Filed I-751 ROC packet to CSC

16 Jun 2012 | 10 Year Green cards arrive

N-400 Naturalization - Citizenship Section:

26 NOV 2012 | Sent N-400 to Phoenix Lockbox

30 NOV 2012 | 797C

17 DEC 2012 | Biometrics

It's pretty common (and nothing new).

Our AOS/I-485 case didn't 'show up' (as a valid case) on the USCIS site until just after our biometrics appointment. Not to worry - it will eventually for you too (doesn't mean you're not being processed). :thumbs:
