I just caught this, but my NOA1 at the bottom has USCIS CSC enter. I live in Maryland and sent it to the right lockbox. I thought my paperwork was going to vermont, not Cali??? which do I follow for processing times??

Follow the CSC timelines. FWIW, for an I-130, thats 5 months (as of last week )

This 'instant transfer' is normal, for this year, and a bit of last year -

Yer homed to VSC, but - VSC is busy, overloaded - they tell the contractors at the Chicago Lockbox office to send them to CSC.

IMO, is a better thing, as CSC is FAST FAST FAST on processing I-130 petitions.

GOOD LUCK !!

When we received our NOA1, I didn't know if I should be happy or sad. We were supposed to be sent to Vermont SC as well but instead we ended up in Cali. At that time Cali was a little bit slower. In a month though things changed and I was glad we were sent to Cali after all. So, do not worry, you should be thankful your file got at the better place

Don't put your hopes up though. Since april 27 we are waiting on our NOA2, my husband called them on oct 22 and they said they were still processing cases from april 12. So they are taking about 6 months, still better than Vermont.

Btw can anyone tell me how to put my timeline as my signature?

Lately, they (csc) has been pretty quick, some April/May applications have gotten hung up, but recently it has been better...

Go to your controls and edit signature... You can copy another signature and put your dates in the block for signature....
