If so, which model and service provider are you using? How do you like it? Does it function well as a phone, ie will it hold a signal in a weak area?

I have a Samsung Impression.

I got it because my wife has an iPhone, which is very cool but doesn't have a real keyboard.

I wanted a phone on the AT&T network (since she needs to be on ATT due to the iPhone) with similar tactile screen to iPhone, built in MP3 and email support, Bluetooth etc. but with a full slide out keyboard. The Impression has that, and I got it for $49 with 2 year commitment.

I wouldn't recommend it though. It's been disappointing on a number of fronts. In hindsight I should probably have gone with Blackberry as a better corporate email device.

Blackberry 8830 (now the Tour) with Verizon. Works well, no camera. Full keyboard is good for use with fat thumbs. Verizon signal is pretty goos, have used it in different parts of the US with no issues.

I thought the Tour had a camera? :unsure:

Mine's a couple of years old, so it doesn't have a camera. I think you are right that the Tour does have a camera.

My wife's BB Storm has quite a nice camera. She likes the touch screen. I have a Storm still in the box for back up if/when my phone dies. I didn't like the touch screen typing as much as the the actual qwerty keyboard.
