:blink: Can this be? An Australian praising Chicago?? Must be a nutter. We all know that no Australian would be caught dead within 100 miles of here.

Praise for Chicago

Having just returned from my journey to the U.S., I write to express my appreciation to all those who call Chicago home. The initial purpose of my journey was to attend a company conference; I took the opportunity to complete the marathon while in town. What an experience. The organization was first class, the atmosphere was electric and the crowd support along the route amazing. From the sound of silence among 40,000-plus participants when the national anthem was sung to the cheers and well wishes along the way, I was left with great memories of your wonderful city.

Thank you for the experience and being able to enjoy all your city has to offer.

You're right, I'm not. I live in the suburbs about 15 miles outside of the city limits of Chicago and Cook County.

What's a lib? :unsure:

And what does any of this have to do with Boston kumquats in Wembley Stadium, which is the real topic of this thread?
