Trotting out the same tired old labels to attack people you have a broad philosophical disagreement with is just childish - there's enough variance of opinion on "the left" and "the right" for people to be poles apart even within their own side.

Personally I blame the media for creating a climate where people are so obsessed with party politics that they can't see where it begins and ends.

As for the weirdness of the WH - seems like a stupid game to play trying to ban one news outlet for whatever reason. I always think it is better not to confront issues of this nature with attempts at exclusion. It's very counterproductive.
