The newscasts? Sure, every now and then- JUST LIKE every other silly news network out there. I look for primary news sources, not digested versions, aka, the other part that you're confusing as news perhaps (talking points and pundits).

Try differentiating that news goes on a newscast and commentary goes in commentary shows. Try the dichotomy I posted above for comparisons even within FNC.

Characteristic of lefty liberals I'm afraid. They quickly resort to this petty behavior and the situation deteriorates into the predictable gutter fight with those that dare disagree with them.

Never to the extent that this WH is in the gutter.....and it seems that their vindictiveness isn't limited to just a news organization but to the Chamber, Tea Party advocates, Insurance Companies and lots of others.

Kaydee, the Bush White House was no better on this front. They played to those news outlets that had a favorable view of the administration and avoidd the others with MSNBC being essentially cut out of the loop altogether towards the end of Bush's Presidency. Bush never actually sat down for an interview with the New York Times while in office. Not once. Wonder why?

Remember Bush's snubbing of Helen Thomas? Yes, that Helen Thomas. The White House Correspondent that has covered every President since John F. Kennedy. He didn't like her, so he ignored her and ended a tradition that lasted for over half a century.

I said it before and I say it again: It's silly for an administration to attack a news network. It was silly then and it is silly now. But let us be honest enough to recognize that this is not a first. It's been done before and I didn't hear any outrage over there on FOX back then or from the right wing club here on VJ. It was great when bush did it because MSNBC, Helen Thomas and the NYT deserved it. Not that it's FOX that's on the receiving end of the attacks, we're all outraged and upset. Pathetic.

MSNBC isn't just one commentator either. But that station, just like FOX is not news but political commentary and entertainment - with one having a left slant and the other having a right slant. Let's not pretend that either station is anything more. They are, in fact, two sides of the same coin.

And yes, I've watched O'Reilly from time to time and it's not what I would want to watch. It's neither informative nor, in my opinion, entertaining. It's a garbage show. I don't watch Hardball either or Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann or Hannity and certainly not that nutcase Glenn Beck. It's all political hack. Nothing more and nothing less. Not worth my time.
