These types of things start to move obama into the unprincipled column.

I disagree with the guy on most every issue but this type of stuff is at a different level.

We often compare Obamer to Bush since he has mimicked him in so many ways but now he is starting to seem more like Nixon, by trying to rub-out his enemies.

Please do et me know when he breaks the law, as in ordering a cover up of a crime (Watergate), and willfully evading the constitutional limits of his presidential authority (the Saturday night massacre).

Oh, wait, sorry. A president breaking the law? I must be mistaken. That would be the illegal wiretaps of the Bush administration, flagrantly flouting FISA.

I think there's a major difference between excluding yellow journalists from a press conference and other, less legal methods of free speech violations.

I know kaydee won't bother with that nugget of reality but it is kaydee after all. So happy to have him back now.

Well its was nice to hear the other networks backed fox news up and everyone seems to agree that this was a bad move(hard not too) now only if we could get certain people here to quit trying to minimize it because it does no good, it was a horrible and petty move by the president.

Well first of all I think that this whole fox news is out to get Obama is over exaggerated. Sure theres no shortage of commentators that cant stand Obama and make themselves very vocal in a very stupid manner, Beck comes to mind. Beck isnt fox news though, they do report news and lets look at what one might call the opposite of fox news, msnbc. I dont exactly see Obama having a issue with msnbc but maybe thats because so many of those commentators want to kiss his as5.

I do think Fox is very dishonest. Take their coverage of health reform for instance - they take extreme cases from the news in the UK, France or Germany and try to use them as counterpoints to public health insurance.

Never mind that the systems are very very different in those countries, or indeed that they're only showing a very narrow snapshot which by itself cannot be a fair judge.

I also find it amazing that Fox spends so much time slagging off other news sources. Perhaps its the nature of the news here to be partisan, but when you are so blatantly biased "fair and balanced" can only be what it is - nothing more than a trademarked slogan.
